Our beautiful girl, Nelly, spent the last couple months in Germany where she was bred to the current #1 and World Champion Long Coat Male in the World, Grizzly! Nelly comes from one of our very best litters here at Zeal German Shepherds and is exactly what we’d dream to have from a German Shepherd female. She has an overabundance of black pigmentation highlighted with deep red markings. These puppies have a pedigree in a league of their own, with superstars like their father VA1 Grizzly (#1 German Shepherd in the World 2022), their grandfather VA1 Ian (Two Time #1 German Shepherd in the World in 2021 and 2019), their grandmother SG6 Olena (#6 Young Long Coat Female in the USA), and their ggranfather VA2 Asap (#2 German Shepherd in the World) to name a few!

With countless generations of this pedigree achieving the coveted VA Excellent Select German Shepherd Title in Germany, being fully titled in Schutzhund (IGP), recommended to breed (KKL), and with excellent hips and elbow evaluations, we are confident in achieving the high expectations set from this litter of puppies. These puppies should be anatomically correct according to the German SV standard, be extremely healthy, and have fantastic pigmentation similar to their parents. They will approach any obstacle with great confidence – whether it is older dogs, younger puppies, various other animals, kids, and adults alike. Nelly, the mother of this litter, is the top pick female from one of our very best long coat litters we’ve had to date. She is the daughter of our Sg6 Olena von der Piste Trophe, #6 Young Long Coat Female in the USA and VA1 Ian vom kleinen Zauberberg, the Two Time #1 German Shepherd in the World! She took some of the best traits from both her parents and has exceptional jaw dropping pigmentation with pronounced black and red markings. Her G-Parents include one of the hottest German Shepherds at this time, VA2 Asap vom Aldamar, the #2 German Shepherd in the World, VA2 Ken vom Team Baierblick, The #2 German Shepherd in the USA as well as VA2 Gipsy vom kleinen Zauberberg, #2 German Shepherd female in China! She has an excellent temperament and a ready to please attitude. She has excellent hips, excellent elbows, and is titled in Schutzhund (IGP1)! She is very playful with other dogs and kids alike! Her temperament is excellent and she has the genetic-health and the makeup of a true World Champion German Shepherd.

Grizzly is the head-turning father of this litter. He is the newest and best long coat male in the world, achieving the coveted VA1 World Champion German Shepherd title at the Sieger in Germany right when this litter was born! He has an exceptionally beautiful presentation. He has excellent hips, excellent elbows, a strong bone structure, a very masculine, massive head, a pronounced black mask, dark eyes, and is fully titled (IPO3) and recommended to breed (KKL). His entire pedigree is filled with some of the highest caliber German Shepherds, all of which are fully titled in Schutzhund, recommended to breed, have excellent hips and elbows, and numerous show and competition achievements. 

Now to say this is a stellar pedigree of these puppies in an understatement! Ian, Nelly’s father, has been the reigning Champion of the World for the last 3 years running (2019 and 2021 – there was no Sieger in 2020 due to Covid). Now, the newest greatest and best German Shepherd is Grizzly, the father of this litter. As a result, these puppies have the greatest father and grandfather of the last 4 years! We’re excited to see how these puppies grow and develop into the greatest German Shepherds there are just like their pedigree indicates they should be!
